Another lies! Don't believe the BVN scandal going on, this is how the Federal Government has chosen to send cash

The Federal Government of Nigeria have not passed on any information pertaining the transfer any money of any kind to persons who have BVN verified bank accounts or whatsoever.

The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Minister of Humanitarian affairs, Sadiya Farouq only announced the conditional cash transfers to the poor and vulnerable households in Nigeria.

She also said that the poor and vulnerable Nigerians are those who have has their names registered with the National Social Register over time and the new ones being added to the list.

Recall that the President, Mohammadu Buhari in his address on Sunday 29th March 2020 to Nigerians on COVID-19 said that he had ordered the immediate conditional cash transfers to the poor and vulnerable households in the country to help in feeding during the 14 days initial lockdown due to the increasing Coronavirus cases in the country.

Honorable Sadiya Umar-Farouk tweeted that she had approved accordingly as also approved by the president of Nigeria on Sunday 29th March 2020 to make conditional cash transfers to the poor and vulnerable households who have been registered with the National Social Register.
Please ignore any other information that you will be getting a a cash transfer so long you have a BVN verified bank account with any bank in Nigeria.
In her tweet yesterday, she said,
This indicates that only those who have been registered with the National Social Register will get the cash transfers to their accounts and no BVN information of any kind was spoken of in her tweet.
She also added that she had directed the agency in charge NEMA to send relief materials to specific places to be distributed to the most vulnerable perosns in the area.

Please debunk any information you see asking for your BVN for any payment from the Federal Government, the Federal Government has not said anything concerning paying other people, they only spoke of sending cash to the people whose data are with the National Social Register already.

Scammers may want to use this medium to acquire BVN Numbers for fraudulent activities, please beware and pass this information to your loved ones and on all social media platforms.
