Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 91 new cases of CoronavirusonThursdaynight.The centre made this known in a series of tweets, adding that74 cases were reported inLagos, 5 in Katsina, 4 in Ogun, 2 in Delta, 2 in Edo and one each in Kwara, Oyo, FCT and Adamawa.
It added that as at11:25 pm 22nd April, there are 873confirmed cases of coronavirus reported in Nigeria, 197discharged patients and 28deaths.
In a follow up tweet NCDC revealed the breakdown of the cases per state from the worst-hit state (Lagos – 504)to least-hit states which are Benue, Anambra, Adamawa and Sokoto all with one case each.
According to the NCDC as at11:25pm on Wednesday night, there are 873confirmed cases of Coronavirusreported in Nigeria.
As atApril 21st, there were 782confirmed cases of Coronavirus reported in Nigeria, 197 discharged and 25deaths.
Meanwhile, NCDCin its COVID-19situation report for April 21ststated that8,934samples has been tested nationwide.
In other news, Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufaihas recovered from Coronavirusafter three of being positive for the virus.He made this known via his Twitterhandle on Wednesday afternoon. El-Rufai, who said he had tested negative twice described his experience in isolation as a “strict medical regime”
