The Chairman of Junior Workers Association of Ebonyi State, Comrade Uguru Uchenna has applauded Governor Umahi for signing Pension Bill into Law which will enable Ebonyi workers to access their retirement benefits without stress.
He stated this in a press briefing at the Government House, Abakaliki. Comrade Uguru maintained that the contributory pension law was for the interest of Ebonyi workers and pledged their total support to the present administration. “That junior workers are fully in support of the efforts of the Governor and government of Ebonyi State to strengthen the pensions of workers of Ebonyi State as it is for the good of civil servants"

"That the Junior workers of Ebonyi State completely dissociate themselves from the desperation of some so-called labour leaders in the State parading their own personal agenda".
He disclosed their willingness to key into - the agricultural policy of the State Government as soft loan has been provided to enable them increase their income.
