Its time to correct the deceivers by Comr. Arinze Okolobu

Correcting the Deceivers.

As a Realist I am, my nerves are always frayed when Deceivers use any means to assassinate innocent peoples personality. It is not in my lane to respond to critics online but rather I confront them with Corrections and Cautions to stand upright in their devious submissions.

In regards to the latest post by Eneh Chigozie, where he tried to paint my Political Icon, Sen Victor Umeh black with his forged lies against a Man who led APGA with discipline, it is noteworthy that all through his leadership days in APGA, no single human being has accused him of fraud before any competent court neither has he collected money from any party member to perpetuate irregularities against the party constitution.

The public should herein caution Eneh Chigozie to be realistic with his line of journalism than to always indulge in abstract journalism. The enemies Sen Victor Umeh had today with their online sponsors is because of his Principled ideologies in standing with Equity in all he does.

Watch all of those accusing Sen Victor Umeh negatively today and see that their lives are crooked and naive as they have done what they accused Sen Victor Umeh in their Community, Town Unions, Church, Clubs, Political Party, etc, people know them, these same set of people are those who call him Greedy person, and when you ask them why? they respond flimsily with murmur in folly.

Imagine a man they claimed to have been greedy is one who led the last gubernatorial campaign with transparency and without tampering  with campaign funds. This is a man who went to the Senate, and did not divert any single entitlement that belongs to the People, but delivered legacy projects to the Senatorial Zone which no other Senator has done in Anambra Central Senatorial Zone till date.

It is Sen Victor Umeh's pedigree with Equity is what Church leaders including the Laity till today still trust in his words, the same with the Town Union leaders and Ndi Igwe, the same with unions of Civil societies etc. It is his pedigree with Equity that made him to stand firm for the Rights of Igbos at the National Conference in 2014 without compromise, he rejected bribes, and did same at the Senate.

This same Sen Victor Umeh is who established an Education Foundation for over 12 years now,  which has produced successful Engineers, Doctors, Priests, Lecturers, Surveyors, Architects, Politicians , Lawyers, Nurses, Nuns, Technicians, Police, Civil Servants,  DSS , Bankers, Entrepreneurs etc. Just imagine!!! then how can a greedy person use his money to touch lives positively to this extent in the society?

It is high time people should start disengaging their brains from the flukes of these online ruse mongers who are fond of labelling innocent entities with oddities.

To my online friend Eneh, you are talented but on the wrong lane with your talents, channel your journalism to gain relevance to the heights of Femi Adeshina, Sowore, Amanze Obi, Chris Anyanwu,  Abba Dabbo etc instead of their your local die hard witch hunting journalism. These men don't have two heads, they have one head like you and they did not toe this lane of yours rather they were objective with the Reality in their Reportage. Kindly focus on other pertinent issues your fellow Journalists do envisage upon and leave my Political Icon alone. It is because of Sen Victor Umeh  and Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu that i still support APGA till today. If care is not taken, i may sue you personally for Character Assassination against my Political Icon

I have to stop here to mind the huge outstanding tasks before my table in the office as I resume officially today from the Covid-19 Vacation.

UNDERSTANDING THE MARRIAGE TRADITION OF IDEANI BY ENGR. BUILDER EDDY MEZUE; THE IDF NGO EDUCATION COMMITTEE

The Traditional marriage ceremony now hinges on materialism and social aggrandizement, and the marriage itself degenerated to business contract. The intent of the tradition and of the marriage are relegated to the background.

Marriage culture is intended to establish mutual relationship between two families that may not have hitherto known each other, and the marriage itself provides a ground where a man and a woman from different backgrounds grow from a bond of love in learning from each other and maturing in the Will of God.

Marriage is entered into when a man and a woman who unconditionally love each other, have complementary qualities and spiritual harmony resolve to live together as one in purpose in the fulfilment of the Will of God. The complementary qualities could be identified over a period of courtship and spiritual harmony achieved. Knowing parents would not hesitate to consent when they identify this.

Consenting means creating necessary environment that will enable the marriage, already made in heaven, be consumed in the most joyful way. This involves satisfying the necessary traditional requirements.

The nature of man now grants that marriage should be protected and future distraction prevented.
The protection lies in making it statutory and preventing distraction lies in satisfying minimum traditional  requirements like
1. Bride price by the man's family to the woman's family
2. Dowry by the woman's family to their daughter to start new experiencing with the man.
3. Prayer from the parents of the man and the woman and from the respective matrilinear families of the man and the woman. This is done in a secluded place. It is called 'eba n'ofe igo ofo' or 'eba n'ofe ikpe ekpele'. It marks the climax of the marriage.
4. A goat by the man's family to the woman's extended family. The goat is killed at an agreed and announced time and shared by every member of the extended present at the time to seal the marriage.

'Eba n'ofe' is performed after the woman is presented to the public or presented only to the extended family in a ceremony called 'Wine carrying'. If omitted as often seen and done in some wine carrying, the ceremony is inconclusive as the necessary prayers are not uttered for the blessing of the marriage.

Further blessing could be sought  in a church where the man and the woman again reaffirm their resolve to strive upwards together to God.

Other traditional requirements necessary but will not prevent the couples living together in marriage are meeting the following stipulated requirements for
a. Parents of the woman by the man (very compulsory)
b. Married daughters in the woman's extended family by the woman but sponsored by the man (compulsory)
c. Co-wives of the woman's mother by her mother but sponsored by the man (compulsory)
d. Unmarried daughters of the woman's extended family by the woman but sponsored by the man (not compulsory). Nothing stipulated for this.
b to d are merely social functions
For the woman's mother to eat in the new home of her daughter certain requirements are fulfilled by the man.

When the woman reaches her husband home she performs a social function, as stipulated, for her co-wives in the husband extended family.

As a community advances in its understanding of God and His Will so does it's culture improves. So will it be for Ideani as it matures more in its understanding such that at a time it's marriage culture will swing completely in the Will of God. May we strive to live up to our vow "Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven" each time we say the Lord's prayer.

Nigerians react as Gov Nyesom Wike demolish two hotels for flouting lockdown order

Nigerians on social media are reacting to the decision of Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state to demolish two hotels in the state for flouting the lockdown order.

Earlier today, the governor led a team of security officers with a bulldozer to demolish two hotels, The Prodest hotel and one Edemeteh Hotel in Onne, for flouting the lockdown order in Port Harcourt and Obio/Akpor local government areas. The lockdown was announced by the governor last week as part of measures to stop the spread of the novel Coronavirus.
While some Nigerians praised the governor for his action, others condemned him for demolishing the properties without legal backing.

5G Technology seems impossible. See why.

Operators cannot switch on 5G technology in Nigeria – NCC

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has said no licence for 5G technology has been issued to any mobile network operator (MNO) in Nigeria and that no MNO can switch on such technology in the country.
Prof. Umar Garba Danbatta, Executive Vice Chairman of NCC, who made this known in a statement by Dr. Henry Nkemadu, Director, Public Affairs of NCC, enjoined Nigerians not to rely on information emanating on social media.
The statement reads: “The attention of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has been drawn to a mischievous statement making the rounds on social media like Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, LinkedIn and other sites that the Nigerian telecoms industry is going to switch on Fifth Generation (5G) in Lagos this Sunday 10th, Monday 11th or Tuesday 12th May 2020.
“The statement from the faceless individuals or groups cannot be further from the truth. The Commission has unequivocally stated that there is no deployment of 5G in Nigeria at the moment.
“The NCC back in November 2019 approved trial test for 5G for a period of three (3) months and the trial has been concluded and installation decommissioned.
“Prof. Umar Garba Danbatta, Executive Vice Chairman, NCC, said that ‘’the trial among others was to study and observe any health or security challenges the 5G network might present. Relevant stakeholders including members of the security agencies were invited to participate during the trial.’’
“The NCC will continue to maintain its policy of technology neutrality and will continue to encourage service providers to deploy the best technology that will meet the needs of the society in a secured and friendly manner.
“The NCC had provided clarifications through Frequently Asked Questions on 5G in view of the recent developments in which misleading materials with no proven evidence are being circulated to link CORONAVIRUS or COVID-19 with 5G technology and therefore refutes the claim that there will be switching on of 5G in Lagos in its entirety.
“The Commission also provided clarifications on the laying of fibre optic cables within Lagos and other parts of the country to the effect that the laying of additional fibre optic cables is to strengthen the existing 3G and 4G infrastructure to provide robust and pervasive telecoms infrastructure to improve network performance.
“5G is a fifth generation of mobile technology, which is an improvement of today’s 4G technology with enhanced capabilities. 5G technology provides the platform for new and emerging technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data to improve the way we live and work.
“NCC has not issued any licence for 5G in Nigeria and therefore, the mobile network operators (MNOs) cannot switch on such technology. NCC is technology-neutral. As such, we don’t license technology but assigns spectrum to operators for deployment of any service when allocated by National Frequency Management Council (NFMC).
“As the telecoms regulator, we enjoin Nigerians to get accurate information from us rather than relying on information emanating on social media by some individuals out of ignorance to misinform our people,” said Danbatta”.

Evang. Chinedu Obigwe- *My good friend Eneh Victor Chigozie resort to childish political analysis and prediction of 2021 governorship election outcome.*

Recently, Eneh Victor Chigozie occupied himself with the making of childish analysis and prediction of the outcome of the forthcoming 2021 governorship election.

When the Chief of Staff to President Buhari died, he used his death to mock erudite Prof Charles Soludo claiming that the late Chief of Staff promised to make Soludo Governor and that now that he is dead that Soludo yet to be declared governorship ambition is dead.

When I read the post I laughed because I know that I have stated publicly that Soludo as at today in Anambra is the proverbial bread fruit whose time is ripe to fall and no human born of a woman can stop a bread fruit that is ripe to fall from falling.

Eneh Victor Chigozie made another two laughable analysis and prediction.

In his two latest analysis and prediction of the outcome of the forthcoming 2021 governorship election he gave the impression that APGA will battle YPP and PDP in the election but that they will lose the election to either PDP or YPP.

According to him APC is out of the race and in his warped imagination, he predicted that YPP or PDP will defeat APGA.

This is not only laughable but it has also proved that Eneh Victor Chigozie is an imitation doomsday prophet.

To the best of my knowledge, YPP is not in existence in Anambra State not withstanding the fact that they produced accidental Senator ifeanyi Ubah in Anambra South.

They doesn't have presence in the 326 wards of Anambra State.

Saying that YPP or PDP will defeat APGA in the 2021 governorship election is tantamount to somebody saying that a Golf Car will damage a trailer in an accident.

APGA is not just a political party in Anambra State, it's the political religion of ndi Anambra and the last thing ndi Anambra will do is to joke with their political religion.

As at today in Nigeria, APGA members are united as a family and they will prosecute the 2021 governorship election with family team spirit.

Another thing that will speak for APGA in the 2021 governorship election is the superlative and commendable performance of Governor Obiano in Anambra State.

As it stands today in Anambra State, Governor Obiano has taken his administration developmental initiatives down to the grassroots and and it is an added electoral advantage for APGA.

PDP is an evil party whose atrocities in Anambra will be difficult for ndi Anambra to erase from their memory.

The fact is that no party can beat APGA in the forthcoming 2021 governorship election.

Above assertion is an assurance that can be taken to the bank.
