Bishop Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church worldwide also known as winners chapel was slammed on twitter when he shared his thought about the recent lockdown order. He said in the viral video "If people are allowed to go to markets for 6hours, why are people not allowed to go to church for 2hours"

However, many twitter users has reacted to the viral video causing #bishopoyedepo to trend on twitter.
A user said in his tweet "What Bishop Oyedepo didn’t know is that if we don’t attend church for 1000 years, we won’t die but if we don’t go out to buy food stuffs, we will die of hunger. Religion is not an essential good. These frauds keep showing face everyday. I’m ashamed"
A user claimed the Man of God was probably looking for more funds to maintain his private jet but was slammed by another user who believed bishop oyedepo was right, he said "People like you can never make it in life. Do other pastors don't want the lockdown to be lifted. Someone said what he has in mind and you are talking about his property"
A user further expressed his feelings after seeing followers supporting the Man of God statements. He wrote "It is really nauseating seeing followers supporting this his statement, I’m more than ashamed, we are so gullible in Africa."
