The revelation of how COVID 19 will stop in Nigeria.

Guru Maharaji reveals how Nigeria can stop COVID-19 spread

Satguru Maharaji, the founder of the One Love Family Sect, has called on Nigerians to reconnect with their culture and tradition to curtail the spread of COVID-19.

He made the call on Sunday while addressing newsmen at his Maharaj Village on the Ibadan-Lagos expressway.

The sect leader said the best way to combat COVID-19 in Africa, particularly Nigeria, was through culture and tradition.

“In the past, all the various forms of diseases were combated through cultural and traditional cures. The black race must wake up.

“Naturally our culture and tradition are now backstage. All we need to do is to reconnect and recognise our traditional rulers.

“Any society that disconnects from its culture and tradition to make money is bound to face several challenges,” he said.

He disclosed that Nigerians are infected with foreign diseases because they had abandoned their tradition and subjected themselves to foreign control.
Maharaji said the Ife-Modakeke crisis was resolved through the use of 17 yam tubers, water, salt honey and calabash as sacrifices to various deities in the land.

Rising deaths in Kano caused by Malaria, other illnesses - State Commissioner for Information says

The Commissioner for Information in Kano state, Muhammad Garba, has said preliminary investigation shows the rising cases of death recorded in the state, is majorly caused by ''complications arising from hypertension, diabetes, meningitis and acute malaria''.

Garba disclosed this in a statement. Part of the statement reads
Although an investigation into the cause of the deaths is still ongoing, preliminary reports from the state Ministry of Health indicated that the deaths are not connected to the COVID-19 pandemic. Reports have shown that most of the deaths were caused by complications arising from hypertension, diabetes, meningitis, and acute malaria.

Moreso, the state government has three modern Isolation Centres where those tested positive to COVID-19 are being cared for. We are also hopeful of getting an additional two Isolation Centres soonest. The government has also hired a hotel where suspected cases are accommodated.

Also, the Kano State Government is collaborating with? Bayero University Kano to establish a testing centre within the institution, which will be ready in two weeks time after being certified by the NCDC. This will, indeed, enhance our determination to ensure that every suspected case undergo a test.”

Just imagine! Two (2) COVID-19 patients on the run in Borno state

Two (2) COVID-19 patients on the run in Borno state

Two patients who tested positive for COVID-19, are on the run in Borno state.
Abbas Kaka Hassan, a 24 year-old male, and Hauwa Mohammed, a 42 year-old female, are on the run after testing positive to COVID-19 at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital in Borno State.

The male is from Layin Tanki in Gwange 11 while the woman lives in Shuwari ward.

Borno Commissioner of Health and Secretary to the state’s high powered response team for the prevention and control of COVID-19, Dr Salisu Kwayabura announced this at the team’s daily media briefings which held on Sunday at the government house in Maiduguri.

He initially gave the male’s name while briefing journalists. After the briefing, he received additional information of a woman also on the run.
The commissioner said the male patient (Abbas), who was in initial telephone contact with the response team after his sample was collected, eventually switched off his phone when he learnt he tested positive. He also said a phone number through which the patient’s mother was in touch with the team, has also been switched off.

“When samples of patients with contacts to index cases are collected, they are normally advised to go on self-isolation. They give their contacts so they can be reached when results are out. This is the standard medical procedure. You cant detain someone with suspected contact. We do not have the lawful powers to do that. Other patients were also allowed to leave but they came into isolation centres and we have 19 of them in two isolation centres. However, the young man in question, chose to go into hiding”.

He noted that a diligent surveillance and investigation team is working very hard to track the patient.

Dr Kwayabura called on anyone who tests positive for Coronavirus not to regard it as a death sentence as majority of those who test positive have recovered from the disease.

*Oseloka Obaze misfired on Anambra state government lockdown relaxation and ndi Anambra pummeled him mercilessly.* ---Evang. Chinedu Obigwe

Ndi Anambra taught the Chief boolicker of Mr Peter Obi in the person of Oseloka Obaze a bitter lesson for foolishly criticising Governor Obiano relexation of lockdown order in the State.

They pummeled him mercilessly and ensured that his nose was bloodied for vomiting rubbish from his mouth.

The lesson they taught him is for him to know that everything is not politics.

If you read ndi Anambra reactions to his condemnation of the lockdown order in our State  on his Facebook page, you will see that they are extremely angry with him and telling him to shut up his dirty mouth.

There anger must be connected with the fact that throughout the period of the lockdown Oseloka Obaze and all the Olumba Olumba bewitched followers of Mr Peter Obi turned their back on them and did not do anything to help them cushion the effects of the hardship they faced during the lockdown.

To the best of my knowledge and that of ndi Anambra , Oseloka Obaze followed the stingy and I don't care footstep of  Mr Peter Obi his evil master to turn his back on his Ogbaru people and Ndi Anambra at large.

He maintained a sealed lips throughout the lockdown and came out from his hideout to condemn the relaxation of the lockdown order by Governor Obiano.

90 percent of those that commented to his condemnation of the lockdown order on his Facebook page pummeled him badly.

They are of the opinion that he is wicked and insensitive.

In all honesty, the whole followers of our self acclaimed Saint Peter Obi are wicked and insensitive.

They are not wishing ndi Anambra well.

Ndi Anambra knows very well that in Governor Obiano,  they are blessed with a Governor that is ready to go hungry to be able to put food on their table.

They also know that in Governor Obiano, they are blessed with a Governor that does not joke with their welfare and wellbeing.

They are happy with all the steps taken by Governor Obiano in his commendable fight against the dreaded Coronavirus pandemics and most importantly, the relaxation of the lockdown order in the State is a cheering news for them.

The lockdown order was done with a lot of commendable achievement in Anambra health sector.

As at today in our beloved State, Governor Obiano has ensured that we have health workers comprising of Doctors and nurses trained by the WHO on the management of the dreaded Coronavirus pandemics.

The Isolation Centres is ready to accommodate any COVID-19 index case for management by the trained Doctors and nurses.

Another cheerful news is that Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital well equipped laboratory will soon be designated as Coronavirus testing centre.

The NCDC boss inspected the lab and certified it ok for the conduct of Coronavirus test.

What is remaining is the conclusion of paper work and official pronouncement to that effect.

Governor Obiano is a Governor that runs for the rain before it starts falling and he used such approach to tackle the Coronavirus pandemics in Anambra State.

The Governor truly deserves to be commended for the successful management of the one and only index case in Anambra.

I have come across people talking rubbish by claiming that the index case is not Coronavirus positive and that his declaration as a Coronavirus carrier is a scam.

Those saying that are naive idiots.

To start with, it was NCDC that confirmed the man positive of the dreaded Coronavirus pandemics and handed his result over to Anambra State government.

All the declared positive case of Coronavirus in Nigeria came from NCDC and not from any state government.

Once you are declared positive of the dreaded Coronavirus, the duty of your State government is to take you to an Isolation centre for treatment and that is exactly what Anambra state government did on the one and only index case in our State.

After treatment, that same NCDC tested him and declared him negative of the Coronavirus pandemics hence the reason why he was discharged from the Isolation centre.

Governor Obiano is truly a gallant soldier blessed with the capacity to fight against anything that want to wreck havoc in our State.

He waged a successful war against criminals, recession and now the dreaded Coronavirus.

All that we owe him is thanks and our genuine support to complete his missionary work in our State.

I will share a screen shots of Oseloka Obaze foolish and ill conceived reaction to the relaxation of the lockdown order in Anambra State and ndi Anambra reactions to him for you to know that he was not spared by ndi Anambra for vomiting rubbish from his mouth in a condemnable bid to use armchair criticism to score cheap political points against the Governor.

Information Manager warns Caretaker committee on all their excesses and ask them to redress or face the anger of the masses. Read below

FROM THE OFFICE OF THE INFORMATION MANAGER, IDF NGO NATIONAL ADMIN SECRETARY AND NATIONAL YOUTHS SECREATARY/IDF LOC CHAIR TO THE CARETAKER COMMITTEE OF IDEANI.

Hon. Engr. Chidiebere Okafor a.k.a Prince Jonathan Izuchukwu

Dear caretaker committee, for quite awhile, we have tried not to portray our bad images in limelight to the public and to maintain the peace and unity that have been the order but it seems that you (the caretaker committee) derives joy towards inflicting bitterness to the masses in Ideani community.

There have been an act of deviants from the rules of law in Nigeria been perpetuated under your watch in our little community yet we choose to be mild in resolving it but it seems the aftermath is the introduction of your selfish act to the masses.

Recently, during the first batch of the COVID 19 palliatives from the States government, under our very watch, that which was meant for the aged in Ideani community was completely messed up, battered with songs of shame as you people hurd the state government palliative for few who are singing praises to your evil act. (Note: Ensure that the list of those given the palliatives are intact cos there shall be probing).

The most annoying is the recents governments approach through the local government and chieftaincy affairs commission to give 400 bags of rice as palliatives to all the 188 communities yet you have refused to give consent to sign the documents as required by the government to enable ideani youths get their share from the government on the grounds that the youths hate the caretaker committee behaviour and act.

That act alone is another insults to injury that shall be indelible in our hearts of the nonchalant acts of imbecile cowed for CTC.

While the National youths body of ideani are watching to see to the end of your mischievous act and for any reasons youths do not get their share from the government, then roast of an action shall Copt but nevertheless, i as the information manager give you the caretaker committee a two days notice to reconsider your act or face the media, human right and government sanctions.

I have tried to give the committee time to accommodate her excesses but it got worst by the day.

I have come to believe on first hand the sayings that " if you say education is expensive, try ignorant "

Bia CTC Na ide, malife

Thanks from:
Ideani information manager.

One of the finest reps in South east: Chris Azubogu calls for new strategy to combat the COVID 19 may

*FIGHT AGAINST COVID-19:  Azubogu calls for new strategies*

*... Says South East mustn’t cripple her economy while fighting the pandemic*

The member representing Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber, *Engr. Chris Emeka Azubogu has called for a strategy adjustment in the fight against COVID-19 that must allow economic activities go on alongside.*

*Engr.Azubogu made the call last night as a discussant in his contribution during a Teleconference meeting organized on Zoom, courtesy of Global SESSNet [South East/South-South Network]. The Teleconference which had the topic: “COVID-19 - Turning a Crisis into Opportunities; where are our Governors?“ was hosted by Mazi Ezeoke in the United Kingdom, in collaboration with Daniel Elombah.*

The legislator christened “Mr. Project” by appreciative constituents on account of his unprecedented performance applauded efforts put in so far by the federal and state governments to win the war against the COVID-19 pandemic. He however observed that at the curve we are, it is time to adopt new strategies that will reopen economic activities while we deepen concerted effort to flatten the curve against the pandemic.

*In his words: "It is obvious that we cannot sustain this war with our economy closed. The ideal thing is to adopt a two-way strategy that will see us fighting COVID-19 and at the same time allow people to drive their respective economic activities”.*

While urging states to adopt ‘State Economic Strategies’ that allow businesses to operate, Azubogu said that there is no better time for us to adjust our strategies in combating the pandemic. We need to ramp-up test centers in collaboration with the NCDC to enable massive testing in the face of increases in community transmission of COVID-19 disease. This, he said, can be achieved through decentralization of test centers to enable massive testing of suspected cases.

*On the long run, Hon. Azubogu suggested that the South East in particular should re-enact the Micheal Okpala development strategy that saw the region emerge as one of the fastest growing economies in the 60s.*

“This is the time to adopt and upgrade the Michael Okpala development strategy that placed emphasis on the agricultural value chain. It is a time to activate Research and Development (R&D) that will accommodate other growth blocks. We have to create opportunities from this crisis" *Azubogu said.*

*The Anambra born federal lawmaker and ICT expert also called for adaptation of a data-driven plan that will give birth to a reliable development demography. He is not happy with the prevailing situation where PPEs [Personal Protective Equipment] cannot be delivered to the entire Southeast region by air as a result of the closure of airports in the region and called for a special arrangement with the FG to allow the usage of Sam Mbakwe Airport Owerri for the purpose.*

The Teleconference saw participants, largely Nigerians from across the globe, making suggestions on how our government and people could turn the crisis occasioned by the pandemic into development opportunities.

*Besides Hon. Azubogu, notable Nigerians who made valuable contributions at the conference anchored by Eze Eluchie, Obi Osuji and Marcel Ngogbehei included Chief Osita Chidoka, Prof Odinkalu and a host of others.*

It was a debate-like conversation geared towards changing the narrative.
