Davido allegedly welcomes baby boy with new Babymama

News reaching us now has it that Nigerian singer, Davido has welcomed another baby boy with a new Babymama.

Rumors have it that the Babymama who bore his 4th child and second son for him is a London-based makeup artist.

The news as reported by GistMerchant, an Instagram based blog has it that the name of the latest mother in town is Larissa Yasmin Lorenco.

Also known as Larissa London, she is a UK-based makeup artist who was born and brought up in Angola.

GistMerchant claim that the makeup artist has been in Davido’s life since 2017 as they shared a photo of the singer with Cardi B in 2017 which features her in the background.

They allege that Larissa welcomed the singer’s 4th child, a son in March of 2020, and went off social media when the rumour initially started but has now returned.

GistMerchant went on to state that the singer is reportedly currently denying the baby and has blocked Larissa so she has no access to him, as he is trying to save face with his fiancee, Chioma.

All efforts to get Larissa to speak with reporters have proven to be futile.

Tonto Dikeh raised a lot of controversy when she shared before and after photos of herself for plastic surgery.

In the before picture, she was looking straight but looked very nice and curvy in the after picture.

Tonto captioned the picture with mocking words for people who are against going under the knife.

However, she pulled down the post after a strong argument was raised in the comment section about the rate at which lives are lost in the process of getting plastic surgery done by underqualified doctors.

Update on the man who steals shoes to have sex with them

Remember the man in Thailand who steals shoes to have sex with them? We brought you a story sometime ago about a man who has been accused of stealing his neighbours’ flip-flops to have sex with them.

Police says that Theerapat Klaiya, 24, has a fetish for flip-flops and stole 126 pairs from locals in Nonthaburi, central Thailand.

Officers identified Klaiya using footage from CCTV set up outside his latest alleged victim’s home. When they searched the man’s home, they found his sprawling collection of shoes that he claimed he had been collecting for more than two years.

According to Police claims, Klaiya said he would wear them around his home as it turned him on. He allegedly told officers that after several hours of wearing the flip-flops, he cuddled and kissed them, stripping off and rubbing them on his body, before ‘having sex with them.’

Police said his collection included dozens of different brands, sizes and colours of shoes, all of them well worn. The vast array of footwear was laid out in front of the Nonthaburi police station as part of a press conference on Monday.

Klaiya admitted three charges of nighttime theft and snatching, possessing a digital transceiver without permission, and violating the coronavirus curfew, police said.

Major Colonel Ekkaphop Prasitwattanachai told local media it was not Klaiya’s first offence for similar acts. He said,

“After we arrested the suspect, we also found out that he had already been arrested last year for stealing flip-flops in another district.

He fully admitted stealing the sandals for lewd purposes, so will be detained at the station until a court appearance for prosecutors to decide on the next part of the legal process for him.”

Liberia to reopen international flights on June 21

Liberia has made remarkable progress in containing the spread of coronavirus. This was made known by the government who said that its international airport and hotels will reopen on June 21.

The President of Liberia, George Weah said in a statement that a state of emergency that was declared in April and due to expire on June 21 would not be renewed.

According to the statement, restrictions such as a night-time curfew would remain in place, though it would start later.

As with other poor countries in the region, there were fears that the West African nation of some 4.8 million people would not have been able to handle a large outbreak.

The country was badly hit during the 2014-16 Ebola crisis, which killed more than 4,800 people in the country. However, it has so far recorded only 334 coronavirus cases and 30 deaths from coronavirus.

Footballer-turned-president Weah said the strides made in Liberia along with “developments in other countries” meant there was no need to extend emergency legislation.

Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr Mudashiru Obasa, has appeared before the State Assembly panel.

This is in relation to the allegations of corruption that were levelled against him by an online medium.

Obasa told the panel that the allegations were untrue and that it was the handiwork of his enemies. He appeared before the nine-man Fact Finding Panel of the House headed by Mr Victor Akande (Ojo Constituency I) at the House chamber.

On May 23, an online medium had reported that at least 64 bank accounts have been discovered and linked to the Bank Verification Number of Obasa.

The online medium, said that its discovered that the accounts registered with various names, are being used to siphon public funds and many other allegations against the Speaker.

Responding to questions from members of the Committee, Obasa said that all the allegations made by the online medium in the reports were unfounded.

The Speaker explained that the vehicles bought for the members of the House and other expenses made by the House were done with the approval of the House and that of the Fund Management Committee (FMU) of the House headed by him.

“We bought land cruisers for Principal Officers of the House. The cars we bought for them are always higher than those of other members and we followed the due process in the purchase.

We went through the Public Procurement Agency (PPA) and others and the vehicles were distributed appropriately."

Here's a detailed account of how Diezani played Nigeria

It is no longer news that Diezani Allison-Madueke has escaped from Nigeria to avoid being prosecuted for her heinous crimes.

The latest development is that she is now a Commissioner in the Dominican Republic. This gives her full immunity against expatriation back to Nigeria for prosecution.

Fresh details have emerged of how Diezani Alison-Madueke, Nigeria’s former Petroleum Resources Minister, plotted her escape from Nigeria in the twilight of the Goodluck Jonathan administration in 2015.

In a document shared from the office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Diezani who is still on trial for corruption back home in Nigeria, lobbied to become Trade and Investment Commissioner of the Dominican Republic and bagged a diplomatic passport from the island government to boot.

“With the diplomatic passport, she is immune to arrest by any law enforcement agency, including the Interpol,” one EFCC operative who wishes to be anonymous said.

“Before leaving office on May 28, 2015, she had perfected a script with the office of the Prime Minister, Commonwealth of Dominica. She lobbied to be appointed as Trade and Investment Commissioner with effect from June 1, 2015.

The lobby actually worked. In a letter dated May 29, 2015 and signed by Prime Minister Roosevelt Kerry, Diezani was offered not only the citizenship of Dominica, a Caribbean Island, but also an appointment as Trade and Investment Commissioner.

A diplomatic passport issued on May 21, 2015, with an expiry date of May 20, 2020, came with the offer of appointment,” the document from the EFCC reads.

It adds that “the passport contained 32 pages and in one of the pages, a restraining statement against arrest is made.”

The restraining order reads as follows:

“The President of the Commonwealth of Dominica requests and requires in the Name of the Government of Dominica all those whom it may concern to allow the bearer to pass freely without let or hindrance and afford the bearer such assistance and protection as may be necessary.”

Diezani’s diplomatic passport number is given as DP0000445.

Rape : Accused commissioner refuses to step down to be investigated

Commissioner for water resources in Kogi state, Abdumumini Danga has vowed not to step down from his appointed position in spite of the ongoing investigation into the allegations of rape and battery levelled against him.

It can be recalled that Danga was called out by a beauty queen, Elizabeth Oyeniyi who accused him of raping and assaulting her in a Facebook post. This happened in the month of March.

In the post, Oyeniyi said Danga sent some hoodlums after her and allegedly raped her at a hotel after she called him out on social media to extend palliatives to his immediate family members.

When asked whether he was considering resignation to enable the police to carry out an investigation into the allegations properly, he wondered why the question was raised.

“Step down as how? he retorted.

Recently, the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu invited the Commissioner but was released on bail and asked to report back at a later date for further questioning.

When he was pressed further on his resignation to allow the police to investigate the allegations properly without bias, he declined further comments.

However, Kingsley Fanwo, the state Commissioner for Information and Communication said Danga’s refusal to resign won’t affect the integrity of the investigation. He said,

“His being in office will have no impact on the integrity of the investigations. We trust the police to do a thorough job. But you will agree with me that it will be unfair to punish anyone who has not been found guilty.”
