PDP Gives FG 48-Hour To Declare Chinese Doctors’ Whereabouts

Chinese doctors in Nigeria
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has given the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led Federal Government a 48-hour ultimatum to declare the whereabouts of the Chinese medical team it brought in purportedly to assist in the fight against the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

The party said its position was predicated on the alarming declaration by the Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire, that he could not account for the whereabouts of the Chinese team, who were brought into the country from the epicenter Nigeria P endemic, despite repeated warnings and disapproval by the Nigerian medical experts and professional bodies.
The PDP, in a statement by its spokesman, Kola Ologbondiyan, said, “The minister’s statement had heightened apprehensions in the public space that the Chinese team, whose identity and activities have been shrouded in secrecy, might have been brought in by a certain cabal for another purpose outside the general public good.”

The party described as suspicious, creepy and weird that the minister of health, who had repeatedly assured that the Chinese were brought to render medical services and training and even went personally to receive them at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja, on April 8, 2020, in an elaborately publicized event, could no longer account for the team.
The PDP recalled how officials of the APC administration had vehemently defended the invitation of the Chinese team and offered them full state protocol on arrival, only to now turn around to disclaim the supposed experts, deny involvement with them and even forbid Nigerians from inquiring about their whereabouts.

Four-month-old baby, 15 family members test positive for COVID-19 in Kaduna

A four-month-old baby is one of the 20 new COVID-19 cases that were recorded in Kaduna State on Friday, May 15.

Dr. Amina Mohammed-Baloni, Kaduna State Commissioner for Health who disclosed this in a statement on Saturday said investigations indicate that the father of the infected child had a travel history to Kano.

She said, “A four-month-old girl is regrettably one of the new patients and investigations indicate that her father had travel history to Kano.

“The infant, who had been brought to the hospital for respiratory issues, was tested in accordance with the updated guidelines which advise that persons with such symptoms be tested. Her parents have also been tested and their results are being awaited.
The commissioner said 15 out of the 20 new COVID-19 cases are family members or close contacts of previously confirmed ones.
“The 20 new cases are spread across seven local government areas. Chikun has seven (including five members of the same family), Giwa recorded four from the Shika community while three cases are in Kaduna North. Sabon-Gari and Kaduna South have two cases each, while Igabi and Zaria have one each. Six health workers are among the new cases, underlining the risks associated with containing and managing COVID-19.”
As at Friday, May 15, Kaduna State recorded 134 cases of Coronavirus, 53 recoveries, and three deaths.

NCDC DG speaks on the differences between COVID-19 and Malaria hours after Raymond Dokpesi demanded for answers (video)

Chikwe Iheakweazu, the Director-General of the National Center for Disease Control today spoke on the between the ravaging viral disease, COVID-19 and Malaria.

This comes after the chairman of DAAR communications, Raymond Dokpesi who was discharged from an Isolation center in Abuja on Thursday May 14, asked what the differences were because according to him, all the drugs given to him at the Isolation center were anti-malaria drugs.

Dokpesi while speaking to newsmen after his discharge, said

”I still have doubts in my mind. I still want to be properly educated.

What is the difference between COVID-19 which is a virus and Malaria which is caused by mosquitos because every medication we were given was malartia medication.

Some people, before they were told they were COVID-19 positive, they were tested in reputable laboratories and hospitals in Abuja and what they found was that they had a lot of malaria parasites in their bloodstream. So when did malaria become synonymous to COVID-19?”

A reporter at the daily briefing of the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19, threw this question to the NCDC boss and here is what he had to say
”I think we all know COVID-19 is a respiratory illness caused by a virus, Malaria is caused by a parasite.

They are completely different diseases.
However, many diseases present exactly the same way in the beginning, Yellow fever presents the same way with fever at the beginning, Lassa the same way, malaria the same way.
So, the initial presentation of a febrille illness is similar across diseases.

There is no specific treatment for COVID-19 so what clinicians do is to manage your symtoms so that your body recovers as quickly as possible.
You can have Malaria and COVID-19.

That you have COVID-19 doesn’t prevent you from having Malaria and if you are in a hospital for one month, you could definitely be co-infected by both of them.
So there are many reasons why people receive similar treatments but they are two completely different diseases with different pathogenesis.” he said

Three COVID-19 patients die in Lagos

Three more COVID-19 deaths have been recorded in Lagos, bringing the state’s total number of fatalities to 36.
The deaths were recorded on Friday, according to the latest situation report released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

In its update for May 15, 2020, the agency recorded four more deaths – three in Lagos and one in Gombe state.
It’s been nine days since Lagos recorded any COVID-19 fatality – two deaths were confirmed on May 7, 2020, bringing the state’s total to 33 at the time.

On Tuesday, the state ministry of health had announced that one of those recently evacuated from Dubai died, presumably of COVID-19 complications.

However, Akin Abayomi, the Lagos commissioner for health, confirmed that samples taken from the 32-year-old male showed thathe tested negative for the virus.

The state still has the highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases with 2,278 cases out of a total of 5,445 cases in 33 other states and the federal capital territory (FCT).

However, Lagos also has the highest number of recoveries with 541 patients out of Nigeria’s total of 1,320 discharged patients.

*Anambra PDP members are Leopards that can never change their spots.* BY EVANG. CHINEDU OBIGWE

The reported crisis and   threat of assassination witnessed at the venue for the sharing PDP COVID-19 Palliatives has vindicated my claim that PDP is a party of murderers and blood suckers.

I have been saying it without fear of contradiction that People Deceive People party is constituted of members that are murderers and blood suckers.

This my above claim has been proved right with the incident that happened at Sen Uche Ekwunife's house.

My good friend Eneh Victor Chigozie reported of how thugs loyal to a Chieftain of the party invaded Sen Uche Ekwunife house in search of Nnewi South Local government Chairman of PDP and that the thugs threatened to kill him.

According to Eneh Victor Chigozie report, it was Sen Ekwunife intervention that saved the Nnewi South Chairman of the party from being murdered by the thugs and that the thugs left with a threat to send him to an early grave before the 2021 governorship election.

PDP members are Leopards that can never change their spots.

A murderer will always want to murder at the slightest provocation and that is the known stock in trade of PDP members.

Common sharing of rice, indomie and Hero beer is what they want to use because of it to send one of their Local government Chairman to an early grave and  they are plotting their return to power in Anambra State, God forbid bad thing.

Ndi Anambra don't need murderers and blood suckers to be in charge of their affairs.

What the evil minded PDP members did yesterday is the main reason why APGA will rule Anambra State for the next 84 years to complete it 100 years that the peaceful party governed the State.

An igbo adage says that 'when a road is good, you ply it the second time and that is the story of APGA in Anambra State.

PDP cannot give what they don't have.

Peace is alien to PDP and that is why the only language there members understand is the language of maiming, killing and destruction.

Ndi Anambra are enjoying peace and dividends of good governance delivery under  APGA government and will avoid the evil PDP like the dreaded Coronavirus.

Daalu nu.

ENNOBLING THE CULTURES

We always say that culture is dynamic yet our cultures have remained in the essence our ancestors instituted them except perhaps in the social aspects, which indeed have been deterioration rather than improvement. The social aspects now outweigh and overshadow the intent of the cultures that no one now could say the volitions behind instituting them.

As a people develop and mature in understanding God and His Will, it's cultures should improve and become more beautiful. God's Will is expressed in nature and is immutable and adamantine. It is called the natural laws. Man must be simple, unassuming and humble to be able to mature in the sense willed by God.

Cultures are instituted in the volitions of a people and sustained by the people as they mature. The beauty of a people lies in it's own culture, which must be developed in adaptation to it's Soil, the climate and the race. Not by adopting foreign culture.

An instituted culture becomes tradition if it transfers from generation to generation. If the generations continue to improve in their spiritual maturity, their tradition will continue to improve along. That is where the dynamism lies.

Over generations, especially in Africa, the cultures remained the same in their essence. This could be attributed to lack of progress in the people's search for God and His Will. Stagnation leading to selfishness brought in the existence of many religions and differing believes resulting to differences in the recognition of God and His Will. This lack of progress arose from the failure of the peoples to see the messages of God brought to them respectively in their spiritual infancy as step that will lead to the next higher level till the highest level. The messages would have formed one single flight of steps leading to the recognition of God and worship of Him through the deed. But instead each people stagnated in the message it received, distorted it and made it religion by introducing dogmas and doctrines that do not accord with the Will of God, and through them lure converts.

So now, within a people you can find adherents of Religion of origin (Traditional religion) which indeed has deteriorated to worship of idols woven with devilish volitions, Buddhism, Zorastranism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, etc.
In the communities in Nigeria we have mainly adherents to Traditional religion, Christianity and Islam. And in each there are sects. The volitions can no longer be the same in this setting.

Since cultures are instituted in the volitions of a people, every culture has a power centre in the beyond. Now that there are confusion of believes, the power centres are weakened and as a result improvement become difficult.

There are some cultures that transcend religious believes. These cultures concern the human spirits and their ascent if properly conducted. They are Thanksgiving, Marriage and Funeral.
Words spoken in the conduct of these cultures attract blessings to the recipients and the participants. The wishes of the participants  are focused on the recipients and from there rise upwards & draw down blessings to everyone.

Whereas Thanksgiving and Marriage are concerned with those still in body of flesh and blood (the so called living), Funeral is concerned with one who has just left the body of flesh and blood, and so must be conducted in line with the believe and wishes of the departed person while he was in the flesh.

There are cultures that are specific and peculiar to various religions. These often bring conflicts within a community in their observations. For instance in Ideani community Traditional religion, we have 'Kamanu, Ufie-jioku, Uzo-iyi, Udo, Obiaja, Idemili'  each connected to a deity of the community and celebrated. Similar cultures are found in the Traditional religion of other communities. Ozo caste or similar castes connected to some deities of the communities exist. In other religions such as Christianity, we have Christmas, Easter, Pentecost, etc connected with the life of the bringer of the teaching the Christians hold supreme. There is also Knighthood caste connected with the saints of the church. In Islam we have Id-el- of various purposes connected with the life of the bringer of the teaching the Moslems hold supreme. They also have castes. So is it in Buddhism, Zorastranism, Judaism, etc.

The entrance of many religions and their varying believes weakened the practice of the festive cultures of Traditional religion origin and limited it to those still in the believe of the animistic beings as gods and those who just wish to maintain the believes of the ancestors.

Most religions within many communities encourage members to be part of Traditional religious believes and to join the 'Ozo' caste system or similar castes systems. This implies mixing old wine with new wine which is bound to make the taste sour. It is the same effect as pouring new wine into an old wine skin i.e. breakage.

For everything to become new as demanded for the Kingdom of God on earth, all these festive cultures must be corrected till discarded as the human spirits attain highest maturity leaving as it's only festivals the Outpouring of Power by the Holy Spirit, the Purity of Womanhood and the Purifying Star.

Everything that was once part of Traditional believes will be placed in archive.
