Comedian Funnybone Threatens To Sue Attendee Who Showed Up At AMVCA Sick With Coronavirus

After confirming his status for coronavirus, which turned out as negative, Nigerian comedian, Stanley Chibunna popularly known as Funnybone has threatened to sue the attendee who arrived from London sick and still decided to turn up for Africa magic viewers choice awards.


Funnybone made this known via his Instagram page on Sunday, March 29, 2020.
According to him, family and friends have continued to call him to find out about the state of his health. He went on to say that he was going to sue the attendee after his treatment.

“14days after Amvca and I kept getting calls from family and friends asking me the same question, Stanley hope you are good? Are you coughing? Well, I am not showing any symptoms yet and I won’t by his grace. I did the test finally and it came out NEGATIVE. 

So fam I am well, alive and safe. Stay safe and be safe,” he wrote.”Meanwhile before I forget oga SEUN who arrived from London sick and yet decided to turn up for Amvca. Pls get well soon o and recover fast if nobody will. I will personally sue you to court. But first get will soon you hear.

Recall that several celebrities had gone into self-isolation after it was announced that they might have come in contact with a person that tested positive for coronavirus at the 2020 Africa Movie Viewers’ Choice (AMVCA) that held at the Eko Hotels & Suites on Sunday, March 14, 2020.

This came after the Lagos State Ministry of Health confirmed that an attendee of the recently held awards’ ceremony tested positive for the virus which means that all other attendees were likely exposed to the novel coronavirus.

“I was scared stiff when I heard about it. There were lots of people at that event, so it is expected that there would be exchange of pleasantries, hugging, handshaking, pecking and all. I am really praying that the person that tested positive didn’t spread the virus to other people. If not, it would be a very tragic situation. I hope that at the time he was at the AMVCA, the virus wasn’t strong enough to be transmitted, because lots of people had mingled with family members, friends and more. After the awards, everyone went about their respective businesses. It is really a sad situation, but I am very hopeful.”

She said she does not really feel bad because she is a single mum, adding that she will be in the right relationship when the time comes, The actress said: “It is not easy not being married and also not having a man of my own. But I have kids who keep me company the whole of my time. I interact with them, take care of them and teach them. As an entrepreneur, I am also making research and relating with my client.

Good news! 5 Coronavirus patients discharged in Lagos after testing negative


The Lagos state government has discharged five Coronavirus patients after they tested negative to the virus. The patients were treated at the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba.

The state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced the cheering news on Twitter this evening. He wrote

I am excited to announce some positive news ahead of our lockdown. We have just discharged 5 formerly positve #COVID19 patients from our Infectious Disease Hospital after treatment and multiple testing by our specialists. Congratulations to the healthcare team and the patients.

The preservation of life is very important and this lockdown will help us trace and stop the spread of #COVID19. We have increased capacity at all levels and I want to assure Lagosians that no matter what happens in the days ahead we can beat this.

Another Lies: Federal Government Confirms The Transfer Of Funds To Poor Nigerian Citizens

It has been speculated since last week that the federal government is planning to gift every Nigerian citizen money for staying indoor during their period of quarantine at home.


Recently the federal government made available funds, to companies that this curfew affect and the federal government has been praised all around the social media.

Now, the federal government has confirmed that the sharing of a certain amount of money to individuals to stay at home has began.

The federal government shortlisted 40million people with a valid BVN.
It is said that the money would be transferred directly to bank accounts.

Opening many account in this case is useless as it requires BVN
The federal government said it chose bank transfer to prevent fund misappropriation and embezzlement as the people in charge can't be trusted.
This comes as an happy news to Nigerians who had been expecting what to use to cope during the quarantine period.

With these the Government now have the right to punish people found to violate the curfew rule.
